Pros
Free biweekly general lunches, free fruits and cereals in the office, and free monthly team lunches.
Cons
It's a perfect job for robots, not for people. When you enter the company first, they will give you a free bag, T-shirt, water bottle, and free meals during the first week to blur your eyes. Then you have one more week of functional onboarding. A few weeks later "paradise" begins. They will provide you with general training, however, the amount of tasks and expectations are insane. Then unattainable SLAs come into the scene. They say they like feedback, but if you say your true opinion you are wasted. They say they like open communication, but your teammates will snitch about every step you make. Too much micromanagement when you are even told which emojis should you use on Slack (oh yeah, they are obsessed with emojis). They say you can enjoy everything we have in the office, but you won't have time for that at all because every minute of your work is tracked and measured. They say you can work from any spot in the office, but if you sit separately from your team they will make sure you hear this loudly. I felt like I don't deserve the salary they pay. I felt like my personality is being crushed. And yes, your colleagues will spy on you. So if you think you are pretty mature, then don't come to work here, because it will be a waste of your time and nerves. I felt a full burnout already after the 1st month of working there. (Transfer)Wise has changed a lot during the last few years and now it’s a traditional corporation in its worst sense where company values are used against you.
