Pros

They let you work remotely.

Cons

Be forewarned that your written job description at Fluz isn't really a description of what you will be doing. It is merely an enticement. Once they get you in the door, your job description becomes utterly meaningless. You will not get the cooperation necessary to carry out your essential job functions. You will not receive the respect that your training and experience merits. You will not be given actual ownership over anything. The following is a short, and by no means comprehensive, list of internal problems at Fluz. There is no project management team at Fluz. This results in: - Unclear deadlines - Unclear and inconsistent approval processes - Unclear and inconsistent feedback - Unfinished copy going live on the app and the website Furthermore, it's worth mentioning that Fluz uses two different project management tools between communication and product development teams resulting in disjointed workflows, chaotic task management, and ongoing confusion about deadlines. Overall, there is a shocking lack of experience and professionalism at Fluz. This results in: - No respect for, or understanding of, the creative process - Complete inability to work productively with creative professionals - Retrograde and counterproductive top-down leadership style all around - The confusing of facts with opinions especially around established professional standards related to grammar and punctuation - A near total lack of awareness around the art and copy relationship - A complete disregard for roles and responsibilities even when those roles and responsibilities are spelled out in a job description - The expectation that creative professionals will work on cheap HP laptops that crash There is an exclusionary corporate culture at Fluz. I can't even count the number of times I was excluded from meetings that were held for my projects. I was repeatedly interrupted in meetings and my ideas and professional advice were routinely dismissed. My requests for tech support were completely ignored. There were no apparent consequences when people failed to do their jobs at Fluz. There is no accountability at this company. Working here was absolutely horrible. Do yourself a favor and get a job anywhere else.

Pros

Great staff, pretty stocked kitchen area with snacks. Location is pretty okay. Your coworkers will really help you out a ton with everything, but that's because you pretty much have no other help at all.

Cons

The CEO doesn't support, doesn't offer full time. Only wants cheap interns that turn over constantly, mostly because he constantly changes his mind as to what he wants and doesn't value any of his people at all. Also the office is too small for how many of us he tried to fit in there. We had to alternate seating like daily cause nobody was permanent and they just stuck you wherever they could, like in the kitchen or the middle of the room.
