Pros

Potential for good pay if you are excellent at sales.

Cons

Overwhelming incompetent leadership. Maybe 20% of upper management in each department is qualified for the positions they occupy. Disrespect from top to bottom including the families they "serve". Mind bogglingly incompetent and shady.

Pros

As most have already stated, there are no real pros to working here.

Cons

Dishonest management. Low pay for front end staff, high pay for corporate management that aren't even able to spell funeral home. Once hired, staff are expected to do the work of 8 people without going over 40 hours. HR and Upper Management expect staff to work themselves to death for low pay and little chance of promotion or living at a normal lifestyle level, and then will terminate you without cause, leaving staff in bad positions because they dedicated themselves to a low paying company that could care less about it's staff. Professionalism and Compassion to families is frowned upon. The company motto is take their money and run. Puts licensed staff's licenses at risk daily by using non licensed staff to do jobs that require licenses. Financially unstable company.

DISHONEST MANAGEMENT

Pros

The only pro to Foundation Partners Group is watching them fail.

Cons

Management will lie, cheat and steal to try to save their own jobs. The HR department is out of touch with reality and have no idea what is actually going on at locations, they simply take the word of those who can cry the biggest crocodile tears. Being smarter and more experienced than upper management will land you false accusations and a termination letter. The company has NO compassion or concern for the grieving families. Regular mistakes are covered up by management to avoid lawsuits. Locations are aging and falling apart. Constant staff and management turnover are proof of how quickly the company is falling apart. There is no chance to promote within the company. As needs arise, inexperienced, unqualified friends of corporate management are hired on.

Pros

You can be as bad or lazy at your job as you want and they will take forever to fire you or might not at all.

Cons

Too many to list them all. Terrible, near nonexistant management. Nobody in this company has a clue what is going on. Upper management fired left and right constantly. They will pay you less than the average for your area, knowingly. Health insurance so bad you might as well jot have any. Even if you have been a top performer with this company for years, no advancement opportunites will be given. Please save your sanity and work anywhere else.

Pros

There are no pros to working for these people.

Cons

Instead of being interested in and understanding what goes on in each of FPG’s locations, upper management would rather be concerned consumed by their bottom line. And theeee most ridiculous things. For example—we don’t always have time to take lunch. But we are required to clock out for lunch. So what we end up doing is working through an unpaid lunch. And if we don’t clock out for this alleged rest period, we get penalized. Or, how about how I forgot to clock out for the day and now I have to complete a missed punch form. Seriously??? I make sure our families are well cared for and this is what they care about in home office?? Morale is at an all time low. There is no room for career pathing and when you ask them about continuing education, you get denied.
