      Harmful working environment

      Pros

      The immediate team I was working with was helpful despite not many people really knowing why they were doing what they were doing.

      Cons

      - A culture of no trust, passive aggressiveness and bullying - In my first week of employment, I was in a meeting were another member of staff was spoken to extremely rudely - For a company of 5 years, almost everyone in the London office has been there <1 year - The offshore team are expected to work long hours to make up for unrealistic time frames - The actual platform works but needs vast improvement to rival the work of competitors - Training consisted of Skype calls between London and Mumbai team

      - GPI is a company full of smart intelligent individuals. - Some team members have fantastic experience, which provides a wealthy resource to anyone early in their career. - Friendly colleagues provide a positive work environment, most of the time. - New structures and processes are being put into place. - The business has great ideas and a lot of potential to provide exciting and novel solutions to support the commercialization of therapeutics

      Cons

      - The business seems to have a top-down culture of overpromising and underdelivering, setting unrealistic expectations internally and externally for product development and commercial success. - It feels like the CEO is in a rush to grow the business, regardless of feedback and outcomes. - Objective feedback, even when based on data, isn't always well received and lacks acknowledgment. - Often it can feel like a smokescreen of positivity without recognizing the faults and there is a lack of accountability for the faults. - Unrealistic earning options - The solutions are very young in their lifecycle and need some attention, and love before they can be more commercially successful.

      Exciting Company to work for.

      Pros

      Exciting, fun, fast paced environment where not one day is the same. Structured management with regular development plans & performance reviews. Great team of well educated, knowledgeable individuals whom can work exceptionally well under client pressure without complaint. Ability to grow and evolve with the company as well as being able to express yourself in a constructive manner in an environment that is very accepting.

      Cons

      Giving too much to previous employees - i.e benefits & training that at sometimes was taken advantage of.

      Thank you for your feedback. As a company, we have made it a priority this year to focus on our employee development. We are currently in the process of reviewing our LEAP program in order to ensure that it aligns closely with the growth plans of the company and encompasses all of our employees. It is very much our intention that everyone can have a clear career development plan and understands how GPI can help them grow.
