Pros

Great place if you are creative and have accountability. Being a program manager there is no micro management which is the best part of the job. People rely on you. Remote work is another great advantage. Great team worldwide who are willing to help anytime.

Cons

Pay could have been higher even though benefits are good. More structure in required from upper management.

Pros

Pay is average but clients depending on your department can be fun to work with and a great start point if your looking to get into tech

Cons

you'll get to a point during your career here where you hit a vertical road block upper management isn't really there to make impacts on the business they will inform you to ask your clients the tough questions to get your sales .. ask them a tough question they'll give you a long dialog till they completely forget what your question is aka push it to the side . implement new procedures but so out of the loop with the rep daily life that their procedures make absolutely no sense creates more work benefits certain reps and terrible for customer experience .. pretty much the management are there to hold on to their positions its all about job security rather than creating streamline process.. also never had a positon where you a still held accountable for your daily quota when you are on scheduled vacation your daily rev of 4k x days of vacation extremely hard to cut that deficient cause you are graded YTD

Pros

Good benefits, great people to work with. Encouranges training and moving up within the company.

Cons

Upper management is outsourcing a lot of people. Current CEO is trying to make the company "more profitable" by eliminating positions and dumping the work on the remaining employees.

Pros

Legitimately trying to think of one. The company used to have so many, but the last 5-6 years and it’s become all about the bottom line

Cons

Horrible training, managers only care about themselves looking good. It’s a popularity contest, as in, whoever makes the right friends gets the promotions and extra attention. The company used to care about the employees but like I said before, the past 5-6 years and it’s gone downhill. They cut everything that gave employees a reason to try and stay there. Employees are given unrealistic goals and metrics. I was a lead and ever since Covid I probably took 10 supervisor calls, on average everyday, all while expected to perform the full duties of a supervisor. My supervisor at the time told me he had me do all this, so he could step away and play video games with his son. Not even lying. At the end, the company decided to fire me for no good reason, making up a narrative, and this was only 2 weeks before I was supposed to go on parental leave. They knew what they were doing. Everyone is a number, everyone is replaceable, they only care about the bottom line and management only cares about themselves and making it seem like they’re doing something to upper management. Avoid at all costs. I capped out at $20 an hour, doing the job of a supervisor making $50k-60k. I capped out after 7 years. The pay rate then, and especially the pay rate now, is not worth the horrible job and all the upset customers that call in that GoDaddy doesn’t equip their staff to handle properly. They literally are just winging it. Not to mention doing mass US layoffs, sending support overseas for pennies on the dollar, and replacing valuable hardworking humans that have families, with mediocre AI

Pros

Lot of pros before Aman became CEO. He single handedly ruined culture of GoDaddy.

Cons

GoDaddy's culture got ruined as soon as Aman became the CEO. The stock stagnated for several years until he pleased the shareholders by cutting costs AKA laying off good engineers and promoting managers AKA people who tell a good story and not necessarily have technical chops. He thinks he has innovated on "experimentation" and keeps bringing it up whereas the ideas and the technical decisions were done before his time. Aman and the upper management always says the right things to please people such as showing sympathies during covid times or wars but he is really 2 faced when it comes to actually taking care of the employees. He will lie to your face and say the opposite to shareholders basically say the right thing to please the audience. Management has decided not to hire folks from WA to justify not paying high wage where himself, head of HR, about roughly 20 directors/VP (if not more) are from Kirkland and Sunnyvale. If they were to let go themselves, they are equivalent to salary of 100 plus engineers who can add value. All the good employees have either been laid off or left and the people there left are folks from Canada, Colombia and India and parts of US where cost of living is low AKA cheap engineers and highly paid executives living in mansion in Seattle/Sunnyvale. As I said, I have lost faith in management and lost faith in Aman who is only there to please starboard. Employee morale has plummeted and they're only here because the economy is bad. As soon as the tide turns, don't expect good people to stick around. All this wouldn't matter to Aman and his cohorts since he has already done his job by 2x the value of stock whereas revenue and growth has stagnated. Aman would also jump the ship showing the value of stock as his success. What a shame of a CEO!
