I have been working at Heat Recruitment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company culture - everyone gets on from the MD to Trainees
Very sociable group but no one is ostracised for doing their own thing
Management do not put unreasonable pressure on you
Good performance is recognised both financially and in terms of praise
There is a fair working environment and none of the horror stories you hear in recruitment with regard to colleagues backstabbing others
Management are always willing to take the time to listen to you and support you through anything
Free onsite gym which is ever improving

    Cons

Communication from Senior Management to the rest of the team is sometimes lacking
The hours are very long and does affect work/life balance

    Advice to Management

When rolling out new initiatives it would be great to really explain to the company the benefits of doing these as often new things are rolled out and quickly forgotten by the team meaning by in is less going forwards with new ones.

I have been working at Heat Recruitment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have been with Heat Recruitment for just over 2 years and couldn't have enjoyed it more. When I finished university I knew that I wanted to get into recruitment and I think I made an excellent decision joining Heat. I progressed from Trainee to Consultant to Senior in under 18 months and had great fun in the process. The culture of the office is amazing and there are lots of incentives such as trips, billers lunches and holidays. You are also really rewarded and recognised for the effort that you put in. I would recommend Heat to anyone considering a career in recruitment.

    Cons

It would be amazing to have some flexible working as the hours can be long.

    Pros

I feel well looked after working here, the staff are really friendly and we all enjoy socialising together. The management are really supportive and run good incentives which makes you want to work hard.

I have been working at Heat Recruitment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Heat is a company I couldn’t recommend enough for anyone who is looking to take a step into recruitment. I had a choice when I was interviewing and I look at the decision I made to join Heat as one of the best decisions I ever made. The management team have supported, guided and helped me to not just get a job, but to forge a career. Even when the times were hard and I wasn’t performing, they helped me out of the slump and I want to thank them for the time and (considerable) efforts they have invested in me.

I couldn’t ask for a better management team. Not only do they look after the staff but you treat everyone as a friend and an equal which makes working life so much easier knowing you have the belief and support of your management team.

You guys are all awesome and as I say, Heat is a fantastic business with masses of potential and I want to wish you all the best of success in the future.

    Cons

Long hours and hard work, but you will never achieve anything without hard work!

    Advice to Management

Keep going as you are going, its a brilliant business.

I worked at Heat Recruitment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Having worked in a couple of other recruitment agencies previously I can say that Heat Recruitment has been by far the most enjoyable. There is a genuine friendly atmosphere where all the consultants work openly together and help each other succeed. This can't be said of all agencies!! Management also give you the opportunity to work chosen sectors in a way that works for you and will provide training. Also if you enjoy sports then I'm sure you will also like the on site gym and table tennis!

    Cons

Like all recruitment roles the hours can be long at times.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

I worked at Heat Recruitment full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

10 Hour Days, told to work through lunch, told to come in early and finish late otherwise your in trouble,

    Cons

Shown Wolf of Wall street video clips and told to be like them on the phone, sink or swim ad-hoc training, management not trained enough in managing, place people in companies who they wouldn't hire themselves, more concerned about answering the phone than speaking to a candidate, have to speak to at least 10 candidates in 1 each morning

    Advice to Management

Actually do some work instead of sitting doing nothing all day but sending KPI's and motivational pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
