I have been working at Heat Recruitment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Heat is a company I couldn’t recommend enough for anyone who is looking to take a step into recruitment. I had a choice when I was interviewing and I look at the decision I made to join Heat as one of the best decisions I ever made. The management team have supported, guided and helped me to not just get a job, but to forge a career. Even when the times were hard and I wasn’t performing, they helped me out of the slump and I want to thank them for the time and (considerable) efforts they have invested in me.

I couldn’t ask for a better management team. Not only do they look after the staff but you treat everyone as a friend and an equal which makes working life so much easier knowing you have the belief and support of your management team.

You guys are all awesome and as I say, Heat is a fantastic business with masses of potential and I want to wish you all the best of success in the future.

    Cons

Long hours and hard work, but you will never achieve anything without hard work!

    Advice to Management

Keep going as you are going, its a brilliant business.

I worked at Heat Recruitment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Having worked in a couple of other recruitment agencies previously I can say that Heat Recruitment has been by far the most enjoyable. There is a genuine friendly atmosphere where all the consultants work openly together and help each other succeed. This can't be said of all agencies!! Management also give you the opportunity to work chosen sectors in a way that works for you and will provide training. Also if you enjoy sports then I'm sure you will also like the on site gym and table tennis!

    Cons

Like all recruitment roles the hours can be long at times.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

I worked at Heat Recruitment full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

10 Hour Days, told to work through lunch, told to come in early and finish late otherwise your in trouble,

    Cons

Shown Wolf of Wall street video clips and told to be like them on the phone, sink or swim ad-hoc training, management not trained enough in managing, place people in companies who they wouldn't hire themselves, more concerned about answering the phone than speaking to a candidate, have to speak to at least 10 candidates in 1 each morning

    Advice to Management

Actually do some work instead of sitting doing nothing all day but sending KPI's and motivational pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Pros

I have been with Heat Recruitment for the last 3 years and I can honestly say it has been the best company I have ever worked for, from listening to your ideas, to being part of a great social circle and a great employer. The office is amazing, from the arcade games to the table tennis table and the fantastic culture. I have grown from a trainee recruitment consultant and worked my way up to senior consultant and have made great money in the process. The staff incentives and the nights out are a great added bonus and I would recommend to anyone a career with Heat Recruitment.

    Cons

The hours can be long but worth it if you want to make decent money!

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing

    Pros

Feeling of satisfaction when you find someone their perfect job
Very friendly colleagues, good social side to the job
Your earnings will match the amount of effort that you put in
In-depth training, giving you a solid understanding of the recruitment process from start to finish

    Cons

Admittedly you need to work long hours in order to be the best
The job can get frustrating if somebody pulls out of the job that you have placed them in

I have been working at Heat Recruitment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hard work doesn't go unnoticed, if you have the right attitude and are determined to better yourself, then there's nothing to stop you succeeding in the company

Its a business within a business, where your given the tools and training to become a specialist in your sector

The incentives, competitions and prizes are great and are only getting better (you cant complain about being rewarded for doing your job well!)

Routes for progression are completely transparent, you know from day one what you need to do to take the next step in your career

Having a close knit team really makes a difference, I regard all of my colleagues as close friends which makes enjoying the highs even better - but importantly they also help you get through the lows!

    Cons

Like any recruitment job the hours are long, but nothing worth having in life comes without working hard

It takes time to become a specialist in your sector

Lots of early starts and late finishes will allow you to reach your goals quickly. It helps that there is a great atmosphere and plenty of incentives to help you along the way.

    Cons

Long hours - but big rewards
