I have been working at Heat Recruitment full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A structured training programme to start you out in your recruitment career.

Loads of support for when you need it and plenty of encouragement from management and colleagues alike.

Set a clear career path/progressive route and how you can expect to achieve it.

Regular, rewarding incentives to help motivate you.

A generous bonus package to make up for the long hours!

Overall the people in the office are just fantastic. There's a lot of company events to get everyone involved and you really feel at home.

    Cons

Focused on volume of productivity rather than quality. Although they're just pushing people for success!

I worked at Heat Recruitment full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Excellent training scheme
    Extremely generous Managing Director
    Brilliant commission scheme
Table tennis table with annual tournaments
    A very modern office
    Free gym
    Free fruit every day

This truly is the best recruitment company I have ever come across with an extremely generous Managing Director and very supportive Managers and SLT. I'd recommend to anyone at entry-level or experienced if you are looking for an excellent training scheme and to be rewarded and appreciated for the work you put in.

    Cons

Long hours can be a strain on outside life (but if you're in it for the money, it pays off)

I worked at Heat Recruitment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Heat is honestly an incredible place to work. For atmosphere and working environment, it is hard to beat.
Management truly care about your progression and development and will do everything they can to ensure you are successful in your career with them. They offer advice both inside and outside of work when it is needed and care about your wellbeing.

Regardless of whether you are a Trainee Consultant or a Senior Consultant in the business, you are treated with respect and trusted as an ambassador for the business.

I joined at entry level with no experience of the recruitment world. The training I received was both technical and concentrated. It allows you to develop quickly whilst not being left to your own devices. A real positive is that the training is continuous as well. Heat work with highly regarded Industry/Recruitment experts who are always in the office expanding on the bespoke training that is already provided. The training is specific to you and your industry, so it is always beneficial

The incentives and prizes are impressive to say the least - I have been fortunate enough to qualify for two incentives which are achievable (trainee or not) and have given me memories that I will never forget.
Whilst Heat have maintained a professional office environment, you will always find yourself laughing with your colleagues. Everyone is up for a laugh and no one is uptight or too serious.

I would recommend anyone to Heat who is looking to make serious money whilst having fun. They will look after you and invest in you.

    Cons

I only have one disadvantage which is specific to the recruitment industry and not Heat. The hours are long, just like in any recruitment job. However, if you put in the hours, Heat’s bonus scheme allows you to earn a serious and fair amount of money; both the consultant and Business take a fair percentage of the fees we make

    Advice to Management

Keep providing the training, mentoring and support to your consultants. It works and they appreciate it.

I have been working at Heat Recruitment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have been with Heat Recruitment for just over 2 years and couldn't have enjoyed it more. When I finished university I knew that I wanted to get into recruitment and I think I made an excellent decision joining Heat. I progressed from Trainee to Consultant to Senior in under 18 months and had great fun in the process. The culture of the office is amazing and there are lots of incentives such as trips, billers lunches and holidays. You are also really rewarded and recognised for the effort that you put in. I would recommend Heat to anyone considering a career in recruitment.

    Cons

It would be amazing to have some flexible working as the hours can be long.
