Pros

Able to work from home. Friendly communication from Care Coordinators. Make and maintain own schedule. Not micro-managed. Work very independently. Given a raise after first year.

Cons

Therapists end up making very little money due to all the time spent on "non-billable" time. Work full time and make about $30,000/ year. Spend about 2 weeks at the start of the school year working full time and not getting paid for any of it, prepping for the school year, contacting families, and scheduling. Flat rate for ETRs and IEPs no matter how long they take. (get paid for 45 min of work per report), flat rate for PR's. One hour for Evals. Poor communication- ie: being contacted at the last minute to be informed that reports are due the next day. (Some schools they contract with- therapists are not part of the IEP team. They don't invite therapists to the meetings or consult them about the child- therapists very much an after-thought.) Pay fluctuates depending on billable hours worked and therapists don't know how much they will make from one pay period to the next. Not paid during summer months.

A Sinking Ship.

Pros

For the most part the company is remote.

Cons

Simply put, this company is a Sinking ship. They have made countless changes in the past year and a half that have affected a multitude of people. Full time jobs have been taken away, given back and then taken away again affecting the lives of many. Employees have went from FT to PT W2 to 1099 and who knows what's next. The CEO has stated in townhalls that he is "happy with the changes" because all they care about is moving as quickly as possible to benefit themselves without stopping for a second to think about the real issues. There are some genuinely good people who work here (providers) who deserve to be in a better place. Some other cons: -Poor management -Poor leadership -Poor compensation If you're not buddy buddy with your manager, you're not safe.

Some glaringly obvious fake positive reviews here

Pros

Company is mostly remote, which is good or bad depending on how you look at it. Some positions are part time which can enable a good work/life balance. There are some genuinely good people and clinicians who work here. The idea behind the business is good, but they greatly lack organization and empathy for those who help run the business day-to-day.

Cons

As someone who worked as a non clinician and part of the operations side of the business, I'm disappointed (but not shocked) to read some of these generic 5 star reviews. It is pretty clear that they are trying to save face after getting rid of a significant part of their staff. Leadership seems to act before thinking things through. Poor work/life balance for many due to everchanging business demands. Shady. STAY AWAY.

We genuinely hope that you are doing well after the recent changes. We hope that your experience with us helped prepare you for your next chapter. Thank you for sharing your perspective. It's important for us to understand if our constant efforts to understand the needs of our providers and clinicians is not being felt by all. You highlight the need for those in corporate to receive and have access to many of the communications directed toward practitioners to ensure a shared experience. We will be sure to highlight work-life balance in our upcoming communications. We wish you the best!
