      Pros

Opportunities to work in the top banks Opportunities to work abroad (New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dublin) People - The people are definitely the best part about JDX and it is the part I will miss the most about leaving. Development - they really invest in developing and nurturing careers (exemplified by their mentorship program as well as the funding in Learning and Development) Parties (pre COVID) - Strategy Night, Town Halls, Ski trips, Itchenor sailing weekend, Summer Event, Christmas Parties, Bootcamp drinks... the list goes on. Fast progression - annual reviews and fast increase of salary. Senior Leadership Team - The most approachable, motivating, genuine group of leaders that always make time for everyone. For me JDX, has been so much more than a company, it was a platform that allowed me to find my way in London, make new friends, gain knowledge and create incredible memories. This is a company that can offer so much if you have the right attitude and say yes to what it can offer.

      Cons

Can sometimes feel like working two jobs when on client site.

      An exciting growing firm!

      Pros

Jdx is quickly establishing themselves as a big competitor in consultancy! They offer wide exposure and continuously looking to expand opportunities to grow. They are a young and exciting company for graduates wanting to get a foothold in to finance and banking but they are also showing clear signs of maturing into a specialised consultancy. They offer a fantastic culture which is unmatched at any other client or firm I have worked at!

      Cons

Staff retention is not high and I believe if JDX invested in their people more, and placed greater emphasis on the welfare of their consultants they might find greater talent retention. Lack of diversity.

      Avoid like the plague

      Pros

You are likely to meet a lot of nice people at your grade.

      Cons

The actual work is insulting to anybody who has a degree. The culture is incredibly bureaucratic. Promotions are not based on merit but rather how many events you host.

      Pros

Good exposure to tier 1 investment banks and wealth management firms

      Cons

The company do not keep their promises when it comes to promotions and pay. When you join, they will show you a chart of where your pay will be in a few years time. Once you join, you will realise it is completely unachievable and being promoted is not about how good you are at your job, but how popular you are.
