Pros

LeafTech is a business constantly growing and changing - that can be a negative for some people, but I think it makes every day exciting. I've had the privilege to watch the company grow from 7 people to almost 20 in 3 quick years. During this time I experienced a close-knit culture full of passion, energy, and fearless feedback. We love getting into the thick of a problem together and coming out as a better team and company on the other side. If you like a fast-paced and involved job with meaningful work where you have the opportunity to shine and excel - LeafTech has the environment you're looking for. I have personal experience seeing the partners of LeafTech make decisions that benefit their employees and the company rather than taking more profit for themselves and having my feedback implemented into policy, procedure, and even our benefits package. Within the first year of my employment, and after honestly expressing my needs as an employee the partners completely changed our HR environment and benefits package to include Health insurance with matching. Without this company personally caring about me and giving me the tools to succeed, I would not have been able to resolve personal health issues and become the happier more effective person I am today!

Cons

Many of the "Cons" of LeafTech, are a benefit to some. The close-knit culture can be intimidating at first, the constant change and growth could be uncomfortable for some, and the passion and drive to accomplish and excel may not match your personal work ethic, but I think it's more of a personal mismatch than a Con. Definitely stay away if you're interested in coasting in an easy position - you'll be challenged and personal growth is required at every level.

Pros

The support team, the people actually doing most of the work, are wonderful. I’ve never seen a group of people work so hard just to scrape by and still get crapped on by their bosses.

Cons

Management is severely out of touch and does not take feedback well. They preach that the team is a family, and that your feedback is wanted and valued - but the moment it is received management becomes a petty 16 year old girl and does just about everything in their power to make you miserable. The CEO was nice to me to my face, but I never heard from him once I told management I was unhappy and needed help.

Pros

Leaftech will hire people with little to no I.T experience. You have the opportunity to get your feet wet in almost everything involving I.T.

Cons

Management will take full advantage of people not having I.T experience with very little pay. You are expected to work lots of overtime which include weekends and if not justified will be removed. This is a very much sink or swim position. You either learn the process quickly on your own with little training or Management comes down on you in front of everyone. The owner tries to disguise his business as a fortune 500 company which makes you very very busy. There are 9 technicians with over 300+ clients. Your title does not mean anything. I was a level 1 handling level 2 and 3 tickets on a daily basis. Your fellow co workers and higher tiers are also very busy so asking for support can be a challenge. This place feeds off of office politics, but the owner will brag about having inappropriate conversations with co-workers and clients.
