Pros

1. Accommodation for employees at plant, but no such benefits for corporate employees. 2. No employees have been terminated as a result of Covid-19. I repeat, NO TERMINATION OF A SINGLE EMPLOYEE. No other pros as such. Got a list of Cons. Check that.

Cons

1. Poor leadership 2. Poor growth 3. The poorest top-management 4. Extremely filled with politics 5. No opportunities for growth 6. Poor work-life balance. Actually zero life, only work 7. Poor compensation for non-leadership position 8. Every promotion is governed by politics. Some hard working people will stay in the same position for years, some hard working people will get demoted as well. While a few people who will put up with the pace of organization politics and leadership and top management, will get promoted every alternate year. 9. Poor knowledge of department leadership position, hence poor guidance provided to subordinates 10. Leadership takes undue advantage of workers 11. Those subordinates who are OK with the undue advantage taken of them, will be star employees in the eyes of MCPI management, will get promoted, will get increments. Those employees raise voice against the same, are poor performers, wont get promoted. 12. No employee engagement. 13. The MCPI HR leadership is worst, hence the most worthless department 14. No policies are followed 15. No recognition at work 16. No challenging work, still staggered and long workhours 17. A set of people have rooted their lives at MCPI, who makes life difficult for employees. This is the scenario both at corporate and plant. It is important to uproot such employees who continuously take advantage of entry level employees. 18. The top management is the main gap which is required to be changed. The top management supports and welcomes politics. 19. Poor compensation 20. No benefits for employees specially at Plant. Please Note: I would have rated the Senior Management as NEGATIVE. Only 'coz the lowest option available is ONE rating, hence I rated one. Mind it, its NEGATIVE.

Pros

Role: Process Engineer (Shift + Technical Service) Pros: • Interesting and technically rich process. • Great place to learn the basics of plant operation, troubleshooting, and safety as a fresh graduate. • Exposure to both shift supervision and technical service offers a steep learning curve early in the career.

Cons

• Extremely toxic work environment with a deep-rooted “sahab culture” and bureaucratic mindset. • No structured training or mentoring system for new engineers. • Very little respect for work-life balance, especially for young engineers. • Hierarchical and outdated management approach discourages innovation and questioning. Verdict: Join only if you’re looking for hands-on exposure and can tolerate a tough, unsupportive work environment. Stay long-term only if you’re okay surviving in a rigid, old-school system.
