Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at MHN full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Helping military soldiers and families, a union is now in place to help deal with poor management decisions.
Cons
No job security, management continues to decrease wages every few years, MFLC management literally does not care about their employees, its just about the bottom line. Their contract is about to get pulled due to their poor decisions, so any MFLC's still working for them might want to consider jumping ship before they are unemployed.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at MHN full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
We get to help our military soldiers and families.
Cons
Putting up with terrible management. The entire management team is so out of touch with the counselors and they only care about money and the contract. They have decreased compensation every year of a contract change. They only care about filling positions and not if one is actually good at their job because they don't care. Not one person in management has ever been an MFLC, so that is telling in itself.

Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at MHN full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
The salary is pretty decent and colleagues are smart and enjoyable to be around.
Cons
The work is repetitive and there is little opportunity for collaboration with management or for advancement. There is no financial incentive to perform since it is only tied to seniority and managers don't have the authority to give raises or bonuses beyond what your seniority allows. There is an inherent level of mistrust that is top down from the corporate HQ of Centene and the environment is very inflexible in terms of remote work, flexible hours or any type of progressive work environment seen in California. Exempt employees who are expected to bring a clinical skill set to the job were recently made non-exempt and forced to punch a time clock, which is very demoralizing.
