Dear Former Employee, As the Human Resources Director I encourage all employees separating from the company to participate in a formal exit interview. During the exit interview employees are afforded the opportunity to voice his or her grievances and or feedback. I recently conducted several exit interviews and received valuable feedback in which I used to design a clear path of CHANGE within our organization. It's expected that once the employee provides feedback that the company would have an opportunity to investigate any issues raised, and if found valid allowed the time to resolve internally. In the last 30 days the company has made significant changes to its policies, invested in new technology, implemented procedures to include performance review process, disclosed salary bands as they align to current positions within our organizations- placing emphasis on compensation, HR auditing all employees current titles and salaries just to name a few initiatives. HR is working with front line managers, department heads, and executive leadership team on management training and development skills. The voice of the employees is being heard and verifiable action has been taken to critical items. Lastly, if you participated in an exit interview thank you for your feedback the issue's you raised left a huge impact which has assisted our company with many key aspects that make a company great and CHANGE is on the way for our entire organization - on behalf of the entire leadership team thank you for being apart of our organization, and we sincerely wish you good luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

-The engineering department is mostly pleasant to work with; you surround yourself with brilliant fellow employees who have great ideas (and who experience the same struggles as you) -A great lunch break if you choose to take it -Informal dress wear to work

Cons

-There is no ounce of structure WHATSOEVER. You are forced to work on their time & hours, or you will get reprimanded for it. If you don't abide by their rules, they will make sure to make you pay for it. Although they hire you for a certain "title", everything else in the company is also your problem or your fault. Oh and not to mention, no source of training or resources either. -Nobody in upper management will ever listen to the voices of the employees, so don't let them fool you with their weekly meetings. -They promise to let you have PTO but will never let you take any of it because the "start up always needs help." -Overworking their employees is a key factor that they will continue to practice. Work/life balance is out the door. -Most employees are incredibly underpaid. If there is a contract stating your assigned pay/salary/bonus, you will 100% get shorted of that money and your contract will magically disappear. -Their stock options are going nowhere but downhill. -Deadlines to projects are expected to be met with lack of supply, resources, personnel and support. Complete chaos every time. -Worst company to have ever worked for and toxic culture is praised amongst them all.
