Thank you for highlighting the flexible setup and work life balance. Creating an environment where people can perform sustainably is important to our company. We also note your perception around speed and competitiveness. In a global organization, decision paths and governance can add complexity, and we are continuously working to simplify processes and enable teams to move faster while keeping quality and compliance high. Your input is helpful for that effort. As a current employee we encourage you to share concrete examples through your manager and/or via our Employee Engagement Survey, so we can address obstacles where they occur.

Pros

Good organisation. 350 year old. Lots of opportunity to learn stuff.

Cons

Hard to get promotion. All decision lies with few Germans sitting in Boston.

Thank you for recognizing our company as a strong, long-term oriented organization with meaningful learning opportunities — both aspects we care deeply about. We also note your point on promotions. Career progression can look different across functions and locations, and we continue working to make development paths and decision-making more transparent. Tools and discussions such as MyGrowth and regular manager conversations are intended to support this, including lateral moves and stretch assignments when a promotion is not immediately available. As for decision-making: as a global company headquartered in Darmstadt, Germany, some strategic decisions are naturally made at the corporate level. It is also worth noting that our colleagues based in Darmstadt, or also Boston, come from many different nationalities and backgrounds — decision-making at the center reflects the diversity of our global workforce, not any single nationality. We are committed to ensuring that local voices, including those in Glasgow, are heard and valued as part of that process. Thank you again for your contribution, and we wish you all the best going forward.

Thank you for highlighting the respectful culture, strong colleagues, and the benefits you experience in our company. We also take note of your perspective on base pay and the impact of mid-management changes. Compensation is reviewed with a view to internal equity and external market benchmarks, and leadership transitions should be accompanied by clear communication and support for teams. If you are comfortable, we encourage you to raise these points with your manager or HR, and to share feedback through our annual Employee Engagement Survey so we can identify where action is needed.
