    Plenty of breaks (up to 90 minutes in a 9 hour shift). Usually you'll have a decent time.

    Cons

    Impossible targets. You will never have enough time to do your job even without interruptions. Multiple competing priorities. You will be pressured into skipping those breaks regularly. No trust from management. You are given additional responsibilities with no authority to actually deal with them (like markdowns, which often require a manager to authorise them yet hundreds need doing in a shift.)     Two things: 1. Either stick to the rules or don't. Selectively applying policy when it's convenient is the worst approach possible. Either follow every policy or use your own discretion, telling one person you can't do something because it's 'policy' then telling someone else to do it five minutes later is just asking for trouble. 2. Stop reacting to trouble and look to actively stop it in the first place ...
