Pros

- Neuralink has some of the smartest people in the world. - It is an extremely engaging work environment, with a large cross-disciplinary team

Cons

- Management is horrible. One person thinks they know everything. - You can't disagree with management, any intellectual discussion is stifled - Upper management never learns from their mistakes - Only sycophants are put in charge

Pros

- Free food every day - Great people (overall) - Interesting work - Nice swag - Solving an incredibly dynamic/complex problem that will change many lives

Cons

Management doesn't know what they're doing. A good employee does not equate to a good manager, which seems like a consistent pattern here. People work on holidays, or almost 10+ hours a day, which is a clear reason why they hire junior engineers. Any senior/mid-level engineer would recognize that this isn't sustainable.
