I have been working at Opus Talent Solutions part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Opus really looked after everyone throughout Covid. Topping up everyone's salary who was on Furlough, providing training for anyone who was off to keep them up to date, making Work From Home really easy and being flexible around difficulties with childcare etc. Loads of my friends at other recruitment companies had really different experiences where their companies seemed to only care about the bottom line. I've always thought this was a really successful place to work, but it made me see a different, softer side of the company this year as well.

    Cons

Nothing to say at the moment

    Pros

As a recruitment firm, they perform well in the industry

    Cons

They are short-sighted and risk being left behind in favour of more innovative firms

I worked at Opus Talent Solutions full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Working from home. Pay ok salaries in line with market average.

    Cons

The most KPI heavy environment you will probably ever be apart of within recruitment with constant emails going around about how many calls have been done, cv’s to clients to even fake adverts posted. Also updating managers on a day plan 3 times a day which you have to create before you start work and not in work hours. (This is on top of doing a week plan also). Commission structure poor compared to other agencies in the area. Very old technology used including a database that is very complicated and slow to use. Old school recruitment stuck in the past. High churn and do not value any new ideas or opinions (managers are always right).

I have been working at Opus Talent Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Opus offers a mature working environment (a rare find in the recruitment industry) that provides new consultants with industry leading training and experienced consultants room to grow. The revamped commission structure goes up to 40% and there is no threshold (another rarity in the industry) Most importantly, Opus is always looking for new ways to recruit and support their recruiters.

    Cons

With more clients and candidates working remotely I think the business will need to look at move flexible working in the future but I am sure the SLT are already working things out.

I have been working at Opus Talent Solutions full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

If you actually take the time to give feedback, something is done about it. The best (and cheesiest) thing about the place is the people; I don't feel like a cog in a wheel, or a number, and genuinely feel like people give a damn about each other.

    Cons

Communication can be a bit rubbish in places, but don't feel like this necessarily an Opus thing, just a general international company one.
