Pros
The people within Opus are mostly brilliant. Junior recruiters receive a great training program and have solid support from the experts around them.
Cons
Corporate functions are treated poorly, without proper salary reviews or any real opportunities for self development. Redundancies are far too regular and often a knee jerk reaction to poor market conditions. Opus don't keep up with market trends externally, only what affects them directly, in the moment, so they don't see potential issues coming their way, nor do they see opportunities to move or expand in to other markets. Those that do well, keep the information to themselves and sharing best practice is virtually non-existent amongst the top billers.
