Pros

There are no good pros - Rating: ★☆☆☆☆

Cons

I regretfully accepted a job offer from Outsource UK three months ago, only to be made redundant out of the blue. It has become painfully evident that accepting employment with this company was a grave mistake. From the moment I joined, I really enjoyed working for the business and held a strong pipeline of potential business in a short space of time not knowing there were signs of trouble. Shortly after my arrival, Outsource UK claimed financial losses and announced the closure of the Birmingham office. This news came as a shock, especially considering the company had reported a substantial profit of £800k only a year ago. It became clear that they had intentionally withheld this information during the hiring process, leaving me feeling deceived and manipulated. But the issues did not end there. Outsource UK's decision to close the Birmingham office resulted in the dismissal of numerous talented professionals, including myself. This callous approach to layoffs demonstrates the company's complete disregard for its employees' well-being and undermines any trust that may have been established. Moreover, the so-called leadership at Outsource UK failed to provide any meaningful explanation during this difficult time. The lack of communication, empathy, and accountability showcased by Nick - CEO, Martin - MD, and the management team was truly disheartening and unprofessional. It is clear that they prioritise profit and personal agendas over the well-being and livelihoods of their employees. I cannot stress enough how important it is for job seekers to exercise caution when considering a position with Outsource UK. The company has shown a complete disregard for honesty, integrity, and the welfare of its employees. The decision to join this organisation was a mistake I deeply regret, and I sincerely hope that others can learn from my experience. If you value honesty, transparency, and a company that genuinely cares about its employees, I strongly advise you to steer clear of Outsource UK. Trustworthy and ethical employers are out there, but unfortunately, Outsource UK is not one of them.

Pros

Flexible working is about the only pro i can think of

Cons

Everything is basic! flexible for appointments but hound you to make the time back up asap. no progression for back office. recruiters are on commission schemes, bonus schemes, mentor schemes and yet the back office cant even get a standard cost of living pay rise. promised progression and then swept under the carpet. 121s and reviews not even taken seriously or reviewed by HR. HR manager is rude and inconsiderate to others feelings. CEO only comes in and says hello to those in the 'clicky group' this is the same clicky group that get the attention, awards and promotions even when they are unrealistic titles and roles.

Pros

A lot of really nice people once you get to know them. Some good Accounts/Roles to work. Really great CEO with some fantastic ideas. Good open door policy. The Account Management team in particular are incredible and very professional and hardworking. Very good culture and values. Family Orientated

Cons

Way too much internal politics. Say one thing and do another, Change will be implemented right from CEO level but management doesn't buy in to it so nothing ever happens. It is like a rotating door at Outsource where people join and leave in a short space of time. Whilst i was there i counted over 10 in and outs in a 6 month period. If you are not in the Swindon office you are often forgotten about.

Thank you for your feedback. We're delighted to report that the new, improved benefits package is now in place for 2017, with increased annual leave included. Our values and our people are incredibly important to us, so our new benefits package was created in response to employee feedback and to demonstrate our commitment to our colleagues. 2016 was a year of big change for us, including our new Academy training course. Inevitably some people drop out of that process. We're pleased to say that most people who join us stay for a long time.
