I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company with a real focus on reward, recognition and promotion.
So many people in the business started in the field sales role and have worked their way up, and you really feel like managers here support you in doing so.
Working hours are reasonable and people generally have a good work/life balance.

    Cons

Being based in Reading means there’s less of an after-work-drinks culture vs. working in a bigger city.
Thats all I can think of!

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you’re doing.
PepsiCo is a great place to work and build your career.

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Wages were ok but not worth the health

    Cons

    The unfairness and mistreatment
It’s not what you know in that place but who you know,
The management is racist and pick on people and favour there mates.
They have code of conduct but no one goes by it. I was bullied by management and shop floor. My health suffered and I got hurt. They refused my redundancy money
And refused my claim for a injury which I got while there ended up mentally and physically abused.

    Advice to Management

Get proper management and weed out the bad guys!!

I loved my time there, and was disappointed to leave, albeit it was the right career step for me.

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay is good but only because of the shift allowance but health deteriates

    Cons

Awful business ran by clowns.Shift managers are a joke who think they are military when in fact work for a crisp factory.

Hours and roster is the worst I have ever worked under...very slave labour like (look at this first)

    Advice to Management

    See above..

Try and retain good crew and staff instead of making yourself look big by cutting numbers using disciplinaries

Need to put your crew first at times when needed as you will need them.

    Be more human and sociable

    I worked at PepsiCo full-time

    Pros

The people, brands, enthusiasm and willingness to take risks were standout aspects in my time at Pepsi. The U.K. team is well led and demanding.

    Cons

US parent demands and micro management, need to go through hierarchy layers rather than direct with communication felt ridiculous and undermined autonomy significantly.

    Advice to Management

Trust your employees and cut through the layers better, map out long term career paths during the performance review better.

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

None. All gone, piece by piece. Pros are reserved for the chosen few and shareholders.

    Cons

Zero job security as they are constantly looking to save pennies, never mind the consequences. Its all about the bottom line, the human cost doesnt even come into their heads. I spent over 5 years watching the axe swing ever closer, then it finally came my way too. A deeply unhealthy environment to work in!!

    Advice to Management

Forget about quotas and statistics, employ the right people for the right jobs. And more than that, realise that it is the hard work of us minions which put you where you are.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Big brands, looks good on the CV

    Cons

Terrible culture. Middle management allowed to bully junior members of staff. Constant pressure to deliver unrealistic goals results in a loss in company values

    Advice to Management

Get to the root of the problems. Clear out the dead wood who have be in place years and delivered zero.
