I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company with a real focus on reward, recognition and promotion.
So many people in the business started in the field sales role and have worked their way up, and you really feel like managers here support you in doing so.
Working hours are reasonable and people generally have a good work/life balance.

    Cons

Being based in Reading means there’s less of an after-work-drinks culture vs. working in a bigger city.
Thats all I can think of!

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you’re doing.
PepsiCo is a great place to work and build your career.

    Pros

A great company with the best industry talent and amazing leadership.

    Very innovative and inclusive culture.

    Cons

In Field Sales based roles sometimes hard work and efforts go un-noticed to the wider business. Ensure you profile yourself and network with Head Office employees - this helps!

    Advice to Management

    Be like Luke Spiller!

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good opportunities for career advancement at many locations across the UK. People who work hard usually get development opportunities

    Cons

You must conform to the competitive ethos which at times can undermine team working.

    Advice to Management

Somethings about the culture are great, preserve these, other things need changing, work on changing them not training people to minimise the impact on them and exploit this weakness through being "Org Savvy"

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good facilities, alot of opportunity to progress if you are willing to work hard and network with the right people.

    Cons

Progression is limited if others don't move on.
    Very Competitive working environment.
Promotions are offered to those that know the right people rather than the person who are most qualified.

    Advice to Management

    More transparent on upcoming roles

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great culture and work/life balance. Generally support of family constraints.
Good opportunities to develop through training.

    Cons

Suffering with market disruptors and changing consumer asks. Will be challenged to meet share-holder expectations with likely head count reductions.
HQ parking is limited. not the place to work if you need to get to the office after a school run.

    Advice to Management

Be aware of consequences of KPI's. Too many are being established with single outcome in mind and no consideration for the negative behaviors they influence

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Salary
    Job opportunities
    Keeps you fit

    Cons

    No communication with Managers
    Morale very poor
Health and safety doesn’t exist, only on their paperwork.
They force overtime on you most weeks, massively exceeding your base hour contract.

    Advice to Management

Look after your employees. Where are the incentives? Constantly dragged in for unreasonable overtime and they wonder why morale is poor and people aren’t pulling their weight... it works both ways guys.
