There is no open salary range. One can earn 10% less than a colleague in the same position with the same experience and responsibilities, and the manager will say something abstract about working not only for the money. At the same time, the company struggles with finding new people in the local market. Be careful trading the salary during the hiring process - you probably will not have any chance to justify it later. Management does not pay enough attention to the things that deserve it and bravely firefights the circumstances, later calling it with all good words and using pathetic slides. Looking nice and talking big - this is how we roll. Seriously. The management may show off with hundreds of millions in income one week and fire all consultants the week after. Growing and earning more are always in the first place. The company becomes bigger and bigger, but it never pays back to the employees.

There is not much reward for the work and results, no bonus, no shares. If you do very good work you just get Slack thanks and emoji. The company grows but the employees do not see that in compensation and rewards. The senior management care about their bonuses, careers and probably to go public and sell their parts. Poor people management and micromanagement is common. They push so hard to grow that many employees are overworked. I had problem to sleep because I could not stop thinking about work. There is a lot of internal hype but many know the real situation. They expect results but there are not enough employees and the hiring is too slow. Engineering can't keep up with sales and marketing.
