      Supportive colleagues hindered by ineffective micromanagement

      Really nice colleagues who are mostly interested in making things work.

      Cons

      Middle managers were clearly not capable at leading, but were great at micromanaging (don't ask questions, just do as I tell you). Actively discouraged from sharing ideas for improvements to efficiency and quality (don't seem negative). Actively discouraged from cross-department collaboration (don't waste their time, they're more valuable than your ideas).
