    Pros

The benefits, the people and the buzz in the office!! The infectious nature of the passion, happiness and friendliness of the place! The career support and development has been amazing. I really value the approach to health and wellbeing and the support around this. The yoga and gym classes really help me to stay focused on work!

    Cons

Long working hours and lack of flexibility.

I worked at PrettyLittleThing.com full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - 40% discount - Friendly colleagues - Good wage - Christmas and Summer party

    Cons

If management (team leaders) had any interpersonal skills, it wouldn't be that bad of a place to work, however, the management is all over the place. A process would change day in day out and they expect unrealistic KPI's while expecting outstanding customer service with the KPI's set (and increasing over time) and is absolutely not possible. Bad customer service by advisors is provided so that targets would be hit so you wouldn't have management constantely down your throat if you dipped in stats 1 day over a month of being on target. Favouritism is riddled in management there and progression is a no-go unless you know someone higher up. Management don't care how you're treated because they know they can easily get an agency to bring in more employees very easily. From working there over a year, about 30% of the managers can do their job correctly and fairly so hope you're lucky and get a manager who knows what they're doing. It's great if you work in Manchester, they get all the praise and goodies, however if you work in the warehouse or Burnley, you get absolute bare minimum rewards. The CEO, Umar, is actually a fantastic person, it's a shame team leaders and the CCMs don't know how to learn from his friendly and approachable personality. Only reason this isn't a 1-star review is because my fellow advisors made it a fun place to work.

The four days off as well as there are a variety of ages working with you .

Poor pay considering the effects the job has on the body , wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless you really really need a job . The lack of sleep messes with your ability to work well .

    Pros

The discount at PLT was good, they have some good events and the sample sales where good.

    Cons

Everything else was just horrific, the management are so immature and treat you like you're nothing. - If you don't fit into the "attire" that they have at PLT your made an outcast instantly, you're made to feel like you don't belong there and are shadowed over. - There's barely any progression and as above, if you don't fit in they won't let you or help you progress. - Changes were made so last minute that you was working until silly o clock to get them done, which yes trading changes however you can't expect staff to pick it up last minute when you treat them like rubbish. - Managers, staff and HR all chat behind your back and then are pally to your face. It's more like a playground than a successful business. HR and Marketing are probably the worst for it. - You don't reward staff in the way they should be rewarded, there was never any "congratulations this looks great" or thanks for working so late and so hard. - Don't treat staff like the job is their only thing they're doing. People have other things going on outside of work, you seem to forget that. Don't make people feel bad about being off for being poorly, or having surgery or going to a funeral etc. - Don't sack staff on the basis of you don't like them either. Listen to what they're saying and then base your decision from that. They shouldn't be bullied out by management and HR. - Some staff have just as much experience as the management, don't show your title off when you may not know someones background. Another review speaks absolute truth here, you can't just throw people away because they're looking somewhere else. Maybe they're fed up of how they're being treated, change that.

    Pros

    - Great work environment and culture around the building - Lots of social events, team integration, work hard play hard - Because of the growth there is lot of opportunities to get involved - No hierarchy within the teams - On site Gym and canteen - Discount is great

    Cons

Not necessarily a con, but it is fast fashion accelerated, its exciting, quick paced and there's lots going on, you have to be the sort of person who would thrive in this environment.

    I worked at PrettyLittleThing.com full-time

    Pros

The only positive comment I can think of is the staff you work with. All talented young individuals who can go far if given the opportunity.

    Cons

The Management...what can I say... 1. The senior managers need to grow up and actually manage the teams. Instead of gossiping or talking behind people's backs. 2. Tell them they have done well instead of waiting for a mistake to happen so you can act all bullish and belittle your staff. 3. Don't throw a hissy fit because some of your staff actually have some brains and challenge you. 4. Don't threaten to get rid of your staff just because they decide to look elsewhere. Maybe you need to actually look at why people leave and realise they leave because of management. 5. Don't be rude to staff and try to intimidate them. 6. Don't lie to your staff. Don't say one thing and then do another because regardless of how you think you can get away with it, the world is small. 7. If your not in with the crowd then you will be marked and dispensable. 8. Don't ask for expected salary and state it is not problem but then offer them a salary which is no way close to what was asked for. If you have a budget make it clear what it is, you will be respected more.
