Being a real estate tech company, the last few years have been tough as the real estate market has struggled, so the company has struggled a bit too, which means there have been some lay-offs and some restructuring that has required current employees to take on much larger work loads, and most of them have not received a raise with the increased work load. However, in their defense, they are trying to weather the storm until the real estate market picks back up again. There are some ways to advance in the company, but not a lot of growth opportunities available right now.

Niche position; not a lot of transferrable skills that can be applied to other industries.

Career advancement lacks transparency and can feel dependent on internal relationships rather than clearly defined performance metrics. Despite opportunities to grow within a role, upward mobility is limited, and newly created positions are not always broadly accessible. Inexperienced management, lack of transparency, unethical reviews, communication lacked severely

The communciation from management was not always transparent

Lots of wasted resources, management did not listen to workers, management had no real idea what was going on in the company, management blind sided people with over 70 layoffs all at once then said they were done with layoffs. Then they proceeded to layoff even more people.

It is a start-up and still has a lot to figure out in regards to internal processes.
