Pros

There are 2-3 people who have a wealth of technical knowledge. Learn as much as you can from them. There’s obnoxiously high turnover so you’ll just be another butt in a seat.

Cons

First things first, know that most of the “positive” 4-5 star reviews here are falsified and written by an assistant who was forced to “write something nice” about the company. Here’s a true review of what you’re getting into working for this company: If you have the unfortunate privilege of getting hired by this place, get in, learn all you can, and find somewhere else to work because you will never be valued or appreciated. Management here is trash, and you will be worked to the bone. You will not be paid fairly. You will be left working on things well above your capabilities and then yelled at for not figuring it out. There is no upward mobility and raises are pitiful (If you even get one). There are accommodations for working from home (COVID protocols be damned), and work/life balance is non-existent. On one hand, RedZone HAS the potential to be a really great company. However, it’s the management that chooses to run the company this way and chooses to cover for each other when things go south (which more often times than not, is their fault).

Pros

Get hands on experience doing a wide variety of tasks & learn new skills. They’ll hire just about anyone as they don’t care if you’re actually qualified or skilled to be able to perform the job they hire you to do.

Cons

Toxic work culture where management relies on fear tactics and passive aggressive shaming to keep their employees in line. Most every employee there experiences a feeling of job insecurity as one week you’re doing well, and then next, you’re worried about losing your job. Most everyone gets a rotating turn in the “hot seat” like this. Sometimes this includes being shamed and blasted in company wide emails, sometimes, this even includes being full out screamed at by the CEO. Management isn’t good with clear and detailed directions and often do not set their employees up for success. A lot of times, I was given an assignment that felt like a sink or swim test where I would either figure it out on my own and do well, or I’d be worried about losing my job. Management treats employees like scapegoats to blame when things go wrong instead of accepting their part in setting them up to fail. Turnover is VERY high, especially in the sales and marketing departments. God help you if you have to work directly with the CEO.
