Pros

ESOP, flexibility, large company, and growing

Cons

Office management could be improved. Work days are very long (sometimes 12+ hours) as management likes to run offices lean. Training program could be better for new personnel. Company response to COVID was delayed and somewhat disorganized.

Pros

The follow up and flexibility during the interview process was great! Jen M. VP, Talent Director was my first contact and she was there along the entire process providing me with details for next steps and what to expect, The team dynamic here is supportive and you get to work and partner with many talented individuals. It's a company that continues to grow rapidly and you have access to many resources and leaders. The onboarding experience and training were well-paced and a smooth transition.

Cons

No cons at the moment but would like to see more trainings focused on soft skills. There's an appetite for it and it's amazing to see what is already in the works!

Pros

Good management, supportive teams, great training. You can learn any skill here if you just ask. Teams support each other.

Cons

You have to advocate for yourself. No one will hand you opportunities, you have to seek them out.

Pros

-some folks outside of projects are cool. Also depends on your business unit and office space -flexibility on hours although OT is often the case

Cons

-If you like the ESOP this could be a plus but for new comers ESOP doesn’t add value. -lack of culture -top heavy (too many PD/VPs) -pigeonholed into select types of projects. Good luck if you want to keep a diverse work portfolio. If you’re good at one thing even though you don’t want to continue that route they will keep you there. -they will move up someone without experience faster than those who have experience -heard they are doing better on pay but when someone with less responsibilities and experience is making more than you it’s not a fun time -lack of communication and understanding from management. They wonder why folks are leaving but don’t make a change -lots of policies and procedure without guidance from management. Said policies and procedures are often forgotten and people do their own thing -training programs aren’t there they throw you into something and see if you sink and if they do have them they are not executed well -you will go far if you’re favored by upper management. If you aren’t good luck getting promotions and career development without having to fight for reasons -if you really look at the reviews the glowing reviews came from Upper management not from employees

Pros

Very flexible 40 hours work life balance and remote working ability. Company -employee owned- did a very good job of building a community with local outings, personality test, conferences, and in person trainings. Bonus and good benefits. 3 weeks pto accrued. Worked on various nationwide projects and gained a wide overview experience of different types of budgets and financial operations.

Cons

Billable hours- a lot of time was wasted on projects due to poor job specific training. The slow periods lasted weeks to months but it was emphasized that your billable rate must be at a certain level despite the level of work load being out of your control. Job specific training was non existent and a figure it out approach was used. No two days were the same which can be a pro but due to the inconsistent nature of work, learning fast was a challenge. Manager was a great worker, strict at times with high expectations, but was too busy to train and often delegated work at the last minute. It would take several years for upward mobility in this role.
