A Cliquy Environment with Favoritism, Uninteresting Work
Pros
A job that provides income
Cons
SCS Utilities Team East, less than welcoming environment. The most glaring issue was the evident cliquishness within the team. It felt like there was an inner circle that held most of the influence, and if you weren't part of it, you often felt left out. Another problem I encountered was the clear favoritism. It is apparent who the favorites are and who isn’t. it could be challenging to get noticed or have your ideas taken seriously. Moreover, the work itself was not very interesting. The projects and tasks often lacked creativity and innovation, making it difficult to stay motivated and engaged. If you're looking for a place to grow and develop your career while working on exciting projects and enjoying a vibrant team social life, this might not be the ideal choice. The lack of inclusivity, favoritism, uninteresting work, and limited social interactions can make it challenging to thrive and connect with your colleagues.
