STV reviews about "manager"

This company is a boys club. All of upper management will band together regardless of the situation and if they even agree with it or not. They create inappropriate relationships in and out of the office with their subordinates. I am personally aware of several complaints to HR regarding 1 manager in particular and nothing has been done about it - instead all of upper management shuns the reporter (who is typically female). Forget trying to stay neutral because they will turn on anyone at any point for whatever scenarios they make up in their heads. They create an environment that is not only impossible to grow and learn, but also mentally draining. I have gotten to the point where I dread coming to work, not because I dislike my job/projects but because the managers I report to are dreadful, degrading, disrespectful, and straight up unprofessional. Although there is a handful of talented and wonderful staff, I am currently looking for a new job and can't wait until I can leave. I wish I never joined this company to begin with - it was not worth the emotional stress that should never occur in any professional environment.

Their communications leaders are terrible communicators. They are neither talented, personable, nor knowledgeable, and are terrible managers. Ironic that the department responsible for communicating with staff and clients is led by people who do such a terrible job at communicating...will not pick up the phone, will not answer emails.

Benefit can be better. Need more pto

The NYC marketing management does not offer recognition nor appreciation for their staff which leads to a high turn over in proposal coordinators and managers.

Unfortunately, this company acquired a smaller private engineering firm that always put their billable employees first. Since that acquisition, there have been an exponential number of people promoted to a VP, Board, Director, or Executive position with little justification on why we need so many people in these higher positions. The concern for employee retention is minimal.

Benefits are unexceptional and typical corporate mismanagement to benefit middle managers.
