It created a culture where people were more focused on self-preservation than collaboration. Leadership often felt absent or disconnected, which contributed to a toxic workplace atmosphere. For future job seekers: if you value clear communication, supportive leadership, and a healthy work culture, I would advise proceeding with caution. There are talented individuals here, but they deserve better guidance and a more ethical approach from those at the top.

      A role in decline

      Pros

      - Good opportunity to gain closing experience early in your career - Good corporate package with many perks, bonuses and team events - Cool office and location - Good laid back working culture for the most part

      Cons

      - Base salary is not high enough when compared to other comparable roles in the industry - Product has not been developed in 3 years and is dated - Zero opportunity for career development - Do not care about customers post signature - UK senior management are powerless and paid way too much to care - Culture of gaslighting - Culture of toxic positivity - Centralised decision making in Berlin who do not care about POS and don't understand it or the markets - No synergy between any teams or markets

      -No.1 is the people. Dependant on your team, it is a family and very supportive of one another -Be part of innovation at forefront of fintech -High ambitions and allows you to get stuck in -Work hard play hard atmosphere

      Cons

      -It has grown very quickly so structures are still being implemented to help guide the ambitions. You need to embrace the chaos. -Not for coasters - sink or swim -Big highs can be followed by big lows -Lack of benefit schemes
