Pros

A few hardworking developers work here.

Cons

Where do I start. The place is run like a factory rather than a technology company. Developers are handed specification documents and unrealistic deadlines to deliver under a typical waterfall process. Management expects people to work extremely unsustainable hours and weekends to please its customers (that includes software developers) and they expect to deliver on their unreasonable deadlines no matter what. there is absolutely no invest in Quality (although they have a QA team), or professional development (training, and/or other learning) of people's skills, or even in retaining them (significant number of developers have left the team in the last year 2015). They call it Growth stage, but I call chaos! I can describe this place as a death march, at best. Soon the company will run out of capital and it will die (hopefully)

Pros

Company has an interesting product, offers opportunity to travel.

Cons

Company has zero leadership in the management team. This is very much a company of many bosses but with no leaders. Because of this, the path that this company is on is very unclear to anyone. Employee morale is very low. Benefits are mediocre at best.

Pros

Flexible work hours. Allows remote/hybrid options for many employees. Competitive pay.

Cons

• No functional HR department onsite or global (major red flag here). • No bonus structure. • No annual merit raises. • No performance reviews. • Employees regularly terminated or laid off without notice or corrective action plan, PIPs and often blindly without notice. • Everyone is bandwidth constrained. • Morale currently poor. • Little accountability by management-- direct reports often get blamed for management's inability to meet goals/metrics/objectives. • Poor / non-existent training practices. • Lack of respect for North American employee's (especially employees with families) time-zones by overseas leadership team, establishing regular weekly calls at inappropriate times. • Company culture promotes blame and shame behaviors for problem solving.
