Pros
- flexible work time (so long as you don't take on more than a couple objectives) - great coworkers - great workspace - fun to play with robots everyday - lots of opportunity to try new things and learn new things - very diverse culture and experience in the team - great stepping stone in career development (1-2 years)
Cons
- no annual salary reviews means no increases - no objective evaluation for issuing employee stock options so it seems that there are favorites amongst upper management - no recognition for taking on more responsibilty if it's not assigned by upper management - expectations are not clearly communicated and aligned - no career mentorship, guidance, or feedback about personal growth - development seems always reactive to problems - always feels like things are rushed and last minute without a proper plan
