Pros

was amazing when it was family run by the Kozubs, they cared about the employees and provided staff with many learning opportunities and used to help staff with tuition fees if they went to school in a related field. the staff was not told to sell certain brands and upsell to customers but to only to help he pet and the owner in what they truly needed ,even if that meant just advice and not a sale this is how things should be run, happy staff, thriving bussiness

Cons

it got bought out in 2015 by petvalu conglomerate with horrible vales and no care for staff and only about their profits and selling their house brand(that has made a few animals i know very ill) instead of a variety of local companies products and foods(like how real Tisol had) their stuff is mainly made in china and of a lower quality that before, they cut out the middle man and only use their warehouse to ships products because they spend less and can charge the same amount or more on products. all in all, 80% of my customers shop at other local pet stores that are family owned not this "Canadian" version of petsmart
