I have been working at Trustpilot full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

What is there not to like?

We have an awesome culture. Everyone is hard workers and we have the chance to learn an incredible amount.

We are taken to some amazing locations and we are rewarded for our success.

We are paid well and the comms is great

We have some amazing leaders who are teaching me so much.

I have fun coming to work and love seeing how much this company is becoming the next big thing.

We have a bike that we ride throughout our office, hooverboards, scooters, ping pong table, darts, loads of free food and a nice comfortable place to work.

Work here if you get given the opportunity!!!!

    Cons

I would say we need some more glasses in the kitchen...lol that's about it

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!!

I have been working at Trustpilot full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very recognisable brand, biggest company in the review space, easy to talk to people about Trustpilot.
    Really great product to sell.
Salary and bonus are good IF you hit target.
Some really fab and extremely clever people work here.

    Cons

Management style is bully boy tactics and humiliation, having to buy the office doughnuts if you fail to close a deal that month, also calling people out publicly if they haven’t hit the desired target, this is so degrading and completely unnecessary. If the managers were good they would teach us to get better and not humiliate us, just because you were good sales person at Trustpilot in no way makes you a good manager.

Great place to work if you’re a young single lad who loves lad culture, degrading women and talking derogatory.

Horrible place to work if you’re female.

HR pretend they care about this but actually don’t.

    Advice to Management

When the best manager leaves this must ring alarm bells?
Don’t try and sell salespeople a dream when interviewing just to get here and find it’s a nightmare.
Lots of people looking to leave, very sad as Trustpilot is let down by poor management.

I worked at Trustpilot full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Energetic atmosphere
    -Free food
    -Great location
    - Mostly friendly people in the office

    Cons

    - A very 'laddish' culture within the office, which means many girls can often feel uncomfortable
    - Hard to progress through hard work, seems as though a lot of favouritism

    Advice to Management

Take a look at some senior managers, and think whether they are actually manager material.

I have been working at Trustpilot full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some good sales reps and nice people, bonuses are alright and free food now and again

    Cons

Teams are really unfair, leads given to whoever a manager feels like for no reason. I got little help in my first two months and was pretty much left to get on with it without good training. Some managers seem ok but it’s luck I think, my manager strolls in in a vest and just flat out lies to half the team to cover his own back! Don’t think he’s had manager training so not all his fault but really aggressive and basically bullying certain people is not how I get results! Has Created a terrible atmosphere in the team and he has no idea about how to manage people without resorting to aggression.

    Advice to Management

Give managers proper training and don’t let them get away with some of the stuff they do! Filters down

I have been working at Trustpilot full-time

    Pros

    Well paid salaries & commission.

    Cons

    Similar to Trump's Whitehouse...

    - Revolving door of employees
    - VP dislikes confrontation and hides behind his managers; if you cannot find him, he might be out golfing or at the pub
    - Lack of structure, integrity and vision
    - Lack of respect towards women (almost zero)
    - "Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" mentality

    Advice to Management

London needs a better HR team with strict HR policies.

I have been working at Trustpilot full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Loads of great people.

Supportive managers and an ok training program.

The product is an easy sell and is popular. Earning potential is great! If you do well and are in sales easy 60k.

Feels more like a family and amazing incentives

    Cons

Senior management hard to approach/ doesnt want to be approached. (Vp)

Decisions and changes never explained or reconsidered. Theres a danger here unrational ideas could harm the business

More consideration to individuals! Looking at a team picture you forget about the ones who prop up the team! Progression is a shambles and full of empty promises

    Advice to Management

Talk to your employees explain your decisions. A meeting was held where the VP said he wanted leaders no bosses.... really?!!! Not the way i see it

The CEO is great and a visionary. Team managers are decent. Coms and operations team need to be sorted. A brick house built on stilts

I have been working at Trustpilot full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - It seems like you can earn a lot of money if you put the work in
    - Trustpilot's mission & goal
    - Most people and businesses know Trustpilot
    - Fun place to work
    - Great colleagues
    - Free lunches, snacks & drinks
    - Trustpilot's software is constantly evolving for the better. We are definitely the best in our industry
    - Promotions seem possible as long as you are hitting your targets consistently

    Cons

    - Benefits have improved recently, but still very poor compared to other companies (even when the pension comes into place next year)
    - Hardly anyone hits target, probably between 10-20%
    - Hard for newbies to come in and do well. A lot of the big accounts sit with senior bdm's
    - Market seems to be reaching a saturation point in the UK
    - A lot of sales people for just the UK market
    - Not convinced management know what they're doing for the point Trustpilot has reached now as a business
    - Constant changes by management, yet nothing ever gets followed through because they forget about the idea 2 weeks later
    - A lot of people have left recently (including sales managers)
    - Lots of new sales people join then leave within a month for whatever reason
    - Not quite an Enterprise solution...yet

    Advice to Management

Trustpilot is a great company to work for. However unless positive changes are made and followed through with, I can bet on more people leaving.

Trustpilot definitely has the ability to be the next TripAdvisor. But in order to do this, management need to start thinking properly in terms of where we are as a business and the changes that are needed for us to hit the next milestone.

I have been working at Trustpilot full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I started at Trustpilot in the earlier part of 2015.

Over the past year, I have seen the company grow in terms of maturity, professionalism, office location, staff, structure and the role has become more interesting and I believe that Trustpilot is still a rewarding journey for me,

The biggest pro is the product and being part of the journey to help sell something which will only become bigger and bigger in years to come.

    Cons

We are fortunate enough to have a Sonos (Music system) in the office.
I wish that I could play my Hip Hop playlist all day every day!

    Advice to Management

Keep growing and allowing the company to organically grow because we are doing a good job right now.
