Pros

Began with excitement, small company with big company potential that was flexible, open and a pleasant group. Senior staff were accessible and visible.

Cons

Lost itself, the loyalty to anyone except the VP, CEO and his minion middle managers. Became mediocre, diluted and the technology has become more irrelevant.

Pros

Great culture, very talented people, good mix of fun and hard work, opportunity to be part of an innovative company with strong leadership. Be prepared to work hard and accept change. When you are trying to disrupt a market you need to be agile.

Cons

Fast paced, lots of changes, location (depending on where you live)

Pros

The product is good when a company really needs it, it can save them when they're in trouble. The support and dev team is really good. Lots of smart people.

Cons

I don't think anyone really likes sales leadership.. its all a pretend game for them to like you. They like to hear themselves talk and force you to listen. New ideas every day, and ones that no action is taken on. A certain individuals insecurity gets projected into insults and passive aggressive behavior. Definitely not an environment for someone who is easily annoyed or discouraged.

Since I'm among the criticized here, I should reply. Thank you for your feedback, it is rewarding to read your praise for our product and engineering & support teams. Our customers share these sentiments, and are powerful advocates for Unidesk and our sales team. I'm sorry that you left Unidesk with these impressions. We hope to motivate, not frustrate, the people who work hard to achieve success. We do best when we are open and honest, both ways - which is why I recently moved my desk on to the floor, adjoining the sales team. It gives me a chance to listen, observe and be available to help.Start-up environments are certainly not for everyone. Unidesk is undergoing rapid change - with new platforms, new releases and new strategic partnerships. These changes expand our market opportunity and should make it easier and easier to sell in the future. But getting things right also requires testing of new sales messaging and techniques. That can be hard to manage when you’re trying to make a number, but the team members who help us figure things out are those who grow with us. The two Unidesk account executives who were recently promoted to sales leadership roles are shining examples of this.
