Great for students, however only a launchpad

Pros

Working at a call center is great for students who want to work on homework on their downtime. The pay is better than working at other entry level jobs.

Cons

There isn't an initiative to stay. People who have worked for the company 15-20 years are treated differently. Some of the greatest and brightest workers are severely overworked and underpaid. There is not a lot of structure.

Pros

Pay, benefits, work from home.

Cons

Very strict adherence guidelines. Expect to be constantly monitored via screen, headset, mouse, and webcam. If you're going to the restroom and are longer than 5 minutes then they will complain about it and count it against you. Calls are constantly listened in on without you being aware. Poor hands on training for over 90% of the dental scheduling softwares you're required to use. Mentally draining. Poor work/life balance. Expect to have time off denied and counted against you if you still have to miss the shift. Poor assistance from management. They only care about their numbers and not your actual quality of work. Poor communication. If you need help during a call then your only option is to post in a help chat where it can take minutes for someone to respond, this also affects your call handle stats. Overall very strict and constantly parroting silly responses given by a written playbook.

Pros

Team Leads definitely care and show it also, but that is about as far as it goes when it comes to truly caring for employees.

Cons

It would save the company money and the employees stress to just go to some type of fully automated service. You can't expect employees to preform like robots.
