Terrible senior management:
The senior management team talks a good game and delivers almost none of it. Manager promised training and resources but neither showed up. You're told to "ask questions if you have any doubts," then get visibly and harshly shut down by the second one. So which is it? Because you can't dangle an open door and then slam it the moment someone walks through.
Handing people tasks with zero context isn't "trusting them to figure it out", it's poor management dressed up as a sink-or-swim philosophy. There's a difference between throwing someone in the deep end and tying a weight to their ankles first. One builds people. The other sets them up to fail and then blames them for failing.
Communication standards of the finance team is very poor and incomprehensible at times.
