It's #InternationalWomensDay! ♀️🎉 Today is a day to celebrate the talented female-identifying ASOSers and female-owned brands that we get to work with every day. Your experience inspires us and we’re grateful for the contribution you make to our business. 💜 We’re all used to seeing pictures of ASOS models on our site, but this week we wanted to bring ASOSers into our studios and ask what makes THEM proud to be a woman at ASOS. Check out a handful of our incredible women below. 👇📽️
This is Bethany👋. She’s a Business Analyst in our Birmingham office. She told us that: 🧁There’s a free sweet treats trolley that comes around every Tuesday full of cake, cookies and goodies 📱Since starting with us she’s been introduced to a world of tech and software development that she had no vision of before ❓Didn’t know how she’d fit into a technical team when her previous experience was more tailored to the business aspect 😄 BUT! The team she’s in have been filled with patience and support and generally made her feel part of the team
Our COO was at the LSE today to mark our move to the main market this morning. Congratulations to all our ASOSers who have worked so hard towards this moment!
Giving our people the confidence to be whoever they want to be is something our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisor, Jordan, knows all about. ✅ He’s telling us why he feels closest to the 'Brave' ASOS value, about his career journey and his new role. 👇
Periods. Let’s talk about them. Our Women in Tech employee network members Natalie and Hayley recently did a session with 80 ASOSers on important topics around women’s health. They talked about endometriosis, fibroids and how we can make ASOS more period and menopause friendly for all women and trans men. #InsideASOS
Having a purpose is great. Having people is also great. But having your people live and breathe your purpose is magic ✨. Our ASOSers live and breathe our purpose every day, so we got the cameras rolling and chatted to them about how they help give our customers the confidence to be whoever they want to be 🎥. Like our Ethical Trade Partner, Emily. She told us why she feels closest to our 'authentic' value as part of her role protecting the people in our supply chain ❤️️.
Meet Rebecca, our Circular Sustainability Partner. She’s chatting about how her role is accelerating the transition to circular design at ASOS, helping us deliver positive benefits for people and minimise our impact on the planet. ✨
No, it’s not the world’s smallest rollercoaster. This is our fulfilment centre in Atlanta. We opened a fulfilment centre in Atlanta back in 2018 and have welcomed more US based ASOSers to our wider ASOS family 🇺🇸. With packages zooming through the warehouse every day, there’s always lots happening.
We’re so excited to welcome the first Assured Skills Academy cohort to our new #Tech hub in Belfast! 🎉 Our Northern Ireland hub recently opened and as part of our commitment to support local talent, we’re giving candidates the opportunity to join the Academy. Providing them with 10 weeks of training in areas from programming to Azure fundamentals, as well as getting Microsoft Accredited, completing the programme could see them becoming part of the ASOS family! Thanks so much to our first cohort for joining us on this journey. ❤️
