  • 🎉 Happy National Apprenticeship Week! 🎉 We’re proud to spend the week celebrating the incredible success stories of our colleagues. Since relaunching our apprenticeships in 2011, over 4500 apprentices have helped us shape a better way of doing business, bringing diverse perspectives, and making an impact throughout our Co-op.

  • Annabel won a 'Being Co-op' award earlier this year for her dedication to supporting families. Since joining our funeralcare team, she has passionately supported local communities and worked to lobby local councils to offer free cremation services for infants.   • Lakota leads the team in one of our stores. Her Grandad works as a store manager and recommended she should apply to join us too! Since then, Lakota has progressed from customer team member to store manager in 4 years. Learn more about her journey:

  • Amanda explains what she loves about her role as an Inclusion Advisor and why it was a particularly important year for pride this year.

  • We’ve had a wonderful couple of months celebrating all over the country at pride events. For us, pride is 365 days a year, it goes beyond rainbow flags and fine words. We were the only retailer to speak in Parliament in support of the Equal Marriage Bill, and we’re proud to invest in projects that make a difference, supporting LGBT+ causes through our community fund.
