A fantastic day volunteering at the British Heart Foundation including an afternoon stint in the cold dressed as “Hearty” and sorting and pricing stock which included Elior UK colleague donations which brought in an extra £71 in sales on the day and £40 from an unnamed donor for the rocking horse in the picture. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from the day but left wondering why I’d not done it before, and I must have passed the trial shift as I’m going back again on Sunday. Thank you again to all my colleagues in Macclesfield and London for getting behind our local charity appeal this year. Tomorrow we will be dropping off all the brand new gifts at The Salvation Army in Macclesfield ready for packing and distributing to families in need this Christmas. ❤️
