Explore Learning is celebrating World Mental Health Day and it iis the perfect time to pause and reflect on how we care for our minds and souls. Whether itโs finding peace in nature, diving into a good book, practicing mindfulness, or spending quality time with loved ones, we all have our unique ways of nurturing our mental health. โจ In honor of this day, some of our amazing tutor team have shared some self-care routines that help them prepare for their tutoring sessions. From walks in the park to simple taking time to prepare, they know that a clear and calm mind is key to giving their best!
We're proud to be supporting Place2Be's Children's Mental Health Week this week! We kicked the week off with a panel discussion in collaboration with our own Mental Health Employee Network to shine a light on the importance of children and young people's mental health! Children's Mental Health Week may be almost over now, but with the practical tips included in the panel discussion and Place2Be's resources, we will continue to support children's mental health all year round!

Meet Rachel! "My journey back to Explore Learning felt like an obvious choice for me. Explore Learning has always been a company that respects and values its staff. The company makes it its mission to provide opportunities for the development and growth of its staff. I returned to the company in 2018 after a 5-year break and saw the amazing advancements Explore Learning had made in the training and development department. There is a real focus on supporting the staff (at all levels) to be the best they can be. In recent years I have had the opportunity to run classroom training, facilitate action learning sets, be a part of the Top Talent scheme and fill a maternity Regional Manager position. There are so many opportunities available to get involved in different departments and discover your real passions within Explore Learning and find your path within the company!"
Explore Learning will be joining the nation to mourn and reflect on Her Majesty's incredible life and service. We will be closed on Monday 19th September to allow our members and employees to mark this day of remembrance.
We are excited to announce we have been nominated as finalists at the Education Investor Awards 2022! The awards celebrate successes in the education sector, recognising those that have made an outstanding contribution to the industry. We find out the results in November. Wish us luck ๐ค
We'd like to share a little reminder of the importance of Self Care. This September, we challenge you to do a little something each day for yourself. Let us know how you get on!
We want to share awareness on International Youth Day. The objective of International Youth Day 2022 is to amplify the message that action is needed across all generations to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and leave no one behind. It will also raise awareness on certain barriers to intergenerational solidarity, notably ageism, which impacts young and old persons while having detrimental effects on society as a whole.
Well-being is a crucial part of our days at Explore Learning! What do you do to look after yourself? ๐คธ
