Earlier this week, Simon and Steve went down to Brian House to officially handover the 3 year old van (which is worth £18,000) to the CEO at Brian House and Trinity Hospice, David Houston. The van will significantly help the charity who previously had to use precious funds to hiring cars and vans to transport the children and fundraising event materials as they had little access to transport. Although our World Cup has come to an end, we were able to raise £250 for Brian House Children's Hospice from our table football themed charity plan. A special thanks to our charity committee for organising the games, you will be hearing from the committee again soon with their latest fundraising ideas. A massive congratulations to our winners Dickies Dynamoes from the Finance department. It was a close final between them and runners up Halse’s Hybrids. The winners have received a £100 meal voucher to celebrate together and Halse’s Hybrids received a £25 voucher.
Life at KR Group....Meet Amanda. We caught up with (harder than you think) our latest award winning employee Amanda about her career at the KR Group. Where did you work before? Amanda has pretty much done everything in her successful career within financial services. She has been a trainer, mortgage adviser and an equity release adviser operating in office based account management roles as well as out in the field. Amanda joined more 2 life as the first Telephone Account Manager and she then progressed into her current role in the field as a Business Development Manager. Best thing about the job? Amanda loves presenting, networking, attending events like FSE and also the small seminars, roadshows and roundtable discussion groups.
