Recently our Central and Eastern Europe leaders participated in a Kimberly-Clark virtual summit under the motto – Go Big, Go Bold! Together, we reflected upon 2020 events and achievements, pondered on the future industry trends that might influence our business, speculated on the insights for our profitable growth and the actions we need to take. Our Original Thinkers are at the forefront passionately exploring future industry trends and what disruptive ideas will help us win in the market and satisfy our consumers' needs the best.
When Vani joined Kimberly-Clark as the general manager for our Nigeria operations last summer, she didn’t let the COVID-19 pandemic stop her from accelerating Kimberly-Clark’s efforts to tackle major obstacles that mothers and girls face in Nigeria. Nigeria is Africa’s largest economy and most populated country, and we have invested $100 million to date in this market, including a diaper manufacturing facility that will open this year. Vani’s team distributed Huggies diapers to thousands of moms and their babies at hospitals and immunization events so they could experience the product’s fit, movement, comfort and overall benefits. In addition, the team launched ‘Kotex Hygiene Talk’ to break down period stigmas, provide girls with an opportunity to ask questions about menstruation, and receive products to easily manage their periods. On this year’s International Women’s Day, we salute the women like Vani who are leading with purpose and driving Kimberly-Clark’s efforts to make lives better for communities around the world.
Kimberly-Clark's caring culture starts from the moment you meet team members, even in the interview process. Rebecca G. shares her story of how Kimberly-Clark's caring work culture began even before her offer was made.
Kathryn M. was educated as a nuclear chemist, and her career at Kimberly-Clark has taken a whole different tack — and she loves it. She’s so passionate about possibilities that she’s helping other women advance in manufacturing roles at the company. “I am very motivated by Kimberly-Clark’s (commitment to) Inclusion & Diversity,” Kathryn says.
This Black History Month, our employee resource group, African-American Employee Network, invited Charles Johnson to speak to employees on the importance of advocating for equal maternal health care and to share his dedication to changing systems to better prevent birth-related deaths. At Kimberly-Clark our actions continue and our employees are eager to engage in authentic conversations about race and bias.

It's World Toilet Day and at Kimberly-Clark, care is the foundation of everything we do. Our chief scientist Pete Dulcamara sat down with 3BLMedia to discuss our 2030 ambitions. “For those who work here we all have an opportunity to become billionaires if we stop defining billionaires as someone who accumulates a billion dollars and instead define it as someone who helps a billion people."
