Meet Jennifer Lee, a maritime engineer dedicated to crafting sustainable solutions. In our latest blog, Jenn shares the satisfaction she gains from solving engineering challenges and what attracted her to a career that benefits both people and the planet. Jenn has led and contributed to innovative coastal and renewable offshore projects, in locations ranging from Essex in the UK to Belize in Central America, where she oversaw the construction of a subsea cable. "The on-site experience allowed me to see how engineering theory is applied in practice. I gained a deep appreciation for the scale of operations and the complexity of interfaces. I felt incredibly fortunate to work in such beautiful natural surroundings, with warmer weather than the UK!" she said.
