At Pulse, we are committed to doing our bit to help raise funds and awareness for charitable causes. Each year, we nominate a new charity; for 2020, we have chosen to support Archie's Journey. Archie's Journey is centred around raising money and awareness for 3 year old Archie, an identical twin who has been diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma. As one of the rarest and hardest to cure of all childhood cancers, Archie's treatment began the day after his diagnosis. However, the process of treating neuroblastoma is a long and aggressive one. Sadly, children that have successful treatment still have a 50% chance of relapsing. And once a child relapses, there is only a 10% chance of survival. We are helping to raise vital funds for Archie which would enable him to receive a vaccination that is currently available in the US. As part of our commitment to providing suitable work for our healthcare professionals, we’ve been accredited by Mumsnet as a flexible employer. Mumsnet is the UK’s largest network for parents, working to support and empower employees. You can find out more by following the link.

A big well done and thanks to this lovely lot from the AHP team today. They spent the day digging, pruning, chopping, sawing, and generally grafting to create a wonderful area for the children to play in at a local primary school. The head teacher was so appreciative, they have welcomed us back to attend a “thank you” assembly. Well done to all involved!
