In July we launched our first internal Diversity & Inclusion Awards and we have been amazed by the number of nominations – we had 964 nominations.

Delighted and proud that Sage colleagues are among those recognised in the Financial Times’ annual HERoes lists, which were published online yesterday (Thursday 20 September).
The lists ranks the female and male executives who have made a substantial difference to women’s careers and it celebrates company leaders who support women in business. All those placed in the lists were identified as champions of women. After being nominated by peers and colleagues, nominations were reviewed by a panel of judges.
Sage is celebrating the placement of three colleagues in the lists under multiple categories:
• Top 100 Female Champions – Kerry Sinclair, VP of IT Enterprise Application Delivery
• Top 50 Male Champions – Seamus Smith, EVP Payments & Banking
• Top 50 Future Leaders – Helen Baker, Quality Assurance Director
Sage's Kriti Sharma, VP AI and Bots, is listed in the 100 Women In Europe To Follow On Twitter And LinkedIn published by Forbes.
Caroline Moore, Sage UK’s People Director comments in an article about the ‘Tech Talent Charter’, a movement of like-minded organisations working to close the growing gender gap, supported by the UK government.
Caroline talks about the need for initiatives that encourage organisations to be proactive about issues like inclusion and diversity, and is quoted: ‘Our apprenticeship programme and work in schools goes some way in helping to bridge this gap for the longer term by engaging with a wide range of young people from different backgrounds and ethnicities to help promote the benefits of a STEM career.’
