This International Women's Day, we're celebrating the incredible women who are not only keeping our water flowing but are also doing amazing things outside of work to keep our communities thriving. Meet Pip, who everyday looks after our network, but is also having a real impact in our region when it comes to football. Pip dedicates most her evenings and weekends to coaching boys and girls football, with a huge focus on helping girls from an array of communities get into football. Pip tells us how her work on the field also helps her when it comes to her day job and managing those complex operational challenges.
Here at Severn Trent, we wanted to start the year by showing some appreciation for our colleagues and spreading some much-needed love during these winter months.💦 January can be tough, but we found a wonderful way to lift each other’s spirits. Throughout last month, our teams shared kind messages and uplifting notes on a special board, and it’s been amazing to see the positivity flow! 💙 Our board was filled with reminders of how incredible it is to work here. It’s just one of the many reasons why Severn Trent is such a fantastic place to be. 😊 #WeDoMoreBecauseWeCare

Andy Farrell, our Disability Advisory Group Chair said: ‘’We're continuing to make great progress when it comes to making our company a more inclusive place to work for people with disabilities. We've had great focus on neurodiversity so far, and are planning to do much more in the wider area of disability. We're grateful to our partners, the Business Disability Forum, who provide lots of supportive resources and offer us advice when we need it.’’ Huge kudos to those behind the scenes making this happen. 👏 #WeDoMoreBecauseWeCare #UKDisabilityHistoryMonth
