We recently celebrated Red Nose Day across our offices. What did we get up to? 🕺 80s‑themed costumes, with prizes for the standout outfits. 🏓 Competitions throughout the day, including ping pong and penalty shootouts. 🎨 A “design your own red nose” challenge. 🍰 Plenty of tasty treats for the team.

Last week, our Manchester office welcomed the latest cohort of non‑sales new starters for their two‑day induction. The group met our Senior Leadership Team, connected with other new starters across the business and enjoyed a team dinner to get to know each other. 🤝 A warm welcome to everyone joining us—we look forward to seeing you grow and succeed in your new roles.
A big thank you to the Softcat teams who spent time with Young Lives vs Cancer, getting their Homes from Home ready for the year ahead. ✨ Colleagues in Bristol supported Sam’s House and CLIC House, and our Manchester team helped at Jack’s House, taking down decorations and giving each home a thorough refresh so families can return to a calm, welcoming space.
In December, teams from Softcat and Young Lives vs Cancer brought some festive cheer to children spending Christmas in hospital, delivering over 600 selection boxes to 13 hospitals nationwide. The aim was simple: to make a difficult time feel a little brighter.
Our Dublin team have officially moved into a new office at Scotch House, right in the heart of the city, just in time for the festive season! 🏢 This marks our fifth relocation, and if you’ve visited our offices in Birmingham, London, Bristol, or Manchester, you’ll know what to expect – a vibrant, inspiring space designed to spark creativity and connection. 🌟
Festive fun for fantastic causes! 🎅 Last week, some of our employees took part in the annual Santa Fun Run in Marlow—an event we are very proud to sponsor. Despite the grey skies, the streets were alive with festive spirit. 3,000 santas took to the streets, cheered on by more than 2,500 spectators, raising an incredible £90,000 for local charities.

Last month, Softcat’s Menopause Group got together for an afternoon of tea, cake and connection in honour of World Menopause Day. 🍰 Part of our Family Network, the Menopause Group is a supportive community for colleagues navigating similar experiences. Through monthly meetups, virtual chats, and shared resources, we’re proud to champion a menopause policy that puts wellbeing first and empowers our people. 💜
