Supporting #MentalHealth is a core part of our Wellbeing offering at Vodafone. Alongside our refreshed Employee Assistance Programme, we have a dedicated Mental Health Service provided by Nuffield Health, plus a trained colleague network of Mental Health First Aiders. The theme for this year’s awareness week is #Movement: Moving more for our mental health. A key contributor to a decline in health is an increase in sedentary behaviour and it's something we can all do something about - try to include more regular movement to look after ourselves and improve our physical and mental health. That's why our Wellbeing team are hosting talks on mental health about our environment, stress and recovery, as well as hearing from our partners Nuffield Health. Watch the video to hear more from Jamie Kirkaldy, on what our Wellbeing team do to support our people and our plans for #MomentsForMovement, this #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek. #TogetherWeCan #MHAW
Steven Bartlett is in The Speechmark!💥 This week, Steven joined us in our London Speechmark office for an afternoon of meeting our people, touring the office, and joining Nick Gliddon, our Business Director, in our 'ListenLive' event. This session was a time for us all to hear about Steven, and his role and impact as our Vodafone Business ambassador in our recent initiative, Digital SOS; a new documentary film series giving small business owners big digital makeovers! In true Steven fashion, he shared lots of pockets of advice, stories from across his career and the different people he's met along the way, and highlighted the importance of key topics which are part of our core values such as community, belonging and Diversity & Inclusion.

April is #AutismAcceptanceMonth, a time to recognise the unique perspectives and strengths of autistic people. By embracing autism acceptance, we celebrate the unique abilities and contributions of our #neurodiverse colleagues, which enriches our workplace, bringing a variety of talents, skills, and perspectives that drive innovation and creativity. Daniel is one of the many members of our VodABILITY Network, which is a network run by our people, for our people. This group are dedicated to supporting colleagues directly or indirectly affected by #disability, connecting them to people who can help. They also raise awareness of the support that’s already in place and drive new initiatives to address any gaps. #TogetherWeCan
Alongside the incredible work of our people networks, a range of policies, activities and initiatives helps us to create a workplace where everyone can thrive. #TogetherWeCan
To mark Trans Day of Visibility last week, our LGBT+ Friends Network hosted a virtual Trans Community Wellness Session led by Cairo Nevitt focusing on support, reflection, and mindfulness activities in a safe and welcoming space. We caught up with Kara Barratt who shares her reflections from the event and highlights the support on offer for trans folk at Vodafone. Such as, our internal monthly calls for trans colleagues and for parents of trans kids, as safe spaces to connect. Plus, our Trans & Non-binary Toolkit, which has guidance in place for colleagues and how their managers can best support them.
