Wow...hard to believe our #WorldClassTeams Annual Conference and Awards was over a week ago! Our focus was on one of our company goals, to #DeliveranExceptionalCustomerExperience by putting our team and our customer at the heart of what we do. We were back at The ICC Birmingham for another amazing day filled with celebration of achievements, teamwork and a fantastic year, as well as a look forward to 2023 and beyond.
We are delighted to announce that our new location, Welcome Break Newark, has officially opened its doors to visitors for the first time this morning. The brand-new Service Area features a Starbucks Drive Thru, Burger King Drive Thru, Pret, Greggs, and Budgens. There is plenty of parking for cars, including 12 high powered chargers for electric vehicles, as well as HGV parking and HGV fuel pumps for drivers, allowing customers to rest up, grab a drink or meal, and top up their fuel or charge their electric car too. The new site is located on the A1 at Balderton, so if you’re passing by, make sure to stop in and let us know what you think!

We are looking for an Oracle Technical Lead for Applegreen / Welcome Break Is this Applegreen or Welcome Break? Confused? Don’t be, we can explain. Applegreen is the majority shareholder of Welcome Break and therefore our UK teams often work closely on a number of projects. We are working together to find a new IT Data Analyst for the Applegreen business. This is a group level role looking after our businesses both in the UK and Ireland.
