We recently conducted a joint survey with the RiDC (Research Institute for Disabled Consumers) revealing that seven in ten disabled consumers faced one or more delivery problems in the past year. After reviewing ten of the biggest online retailers’ checkout pages, we found that some only allowed delivery instructions for selected products and with sparse character limits while others didn’t provide this function on its checkout pages at all. We’re calling on all online retailers to do more to ensure disabled consumers can specify their needs during the checkout process, making all deliveries accessible for all. #DisabilityInclusion #Inclusion #Accessibility
Say hello to James Blake, who joined Which? last June. 'Prior to working for Which?, my background was mainly in retail. I had been made redundant by three separate companies, so it was a relief to find an organisation that is continuing to grow with such strong values. 'I joined the tech team to begin with, but when there was the opportunity to progress with a managerial role and develop my skills, I was keen to pursue it. 'My new job title is online team manager. I've joined a fantastic group of people who are passionate about delivering only the highest quality of experience via our email and live chat channels for our members.' Last summer, the Member Tech Support Team was set up in our Cardiff office. Since then, they’ve helped 16,212 Which? Tech Members with any issues or tech support that they’ve needed. This has ranged from setting up new devices to supporting existing ones, including security checks to discover whether devices have been compromised, and ensuring that all software is up to date and appropriate for our member’s needs. They have been the safety net for many during a period where we’re seeing more and more scams online. To learn more about Which? Tech Support, visit: https://lnkd.in/dFHwDG6x
