Lots and LOTS of expectation setting and "next steps" discussions. This definitely helps the candidates maintain a bigger picture of the process. However, for a contract position that couldn't be guaranteed even a 3 month minimum there were SEVEN interviews, with people from multiple departments (some of whom weren't even a part of the project the position was for)
